International Partnerships

NAFSAIUPUI's international program received the 2009 Heiskell Award for Innovation in International Education and the 2011 Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization.

Former IUPUI Associate Vice Chancellor Susan Sutton's vision for strategic partnerships is outlined in "Partnerships as a Driving Force in Campus Internationalization."

IUPUI is committed to strengthening internationalization efforts through expanding effective international partnerships, as described in the IUPUI Strategic Plan: Our Commitment to Indiana and Beyond, which is aligned with Indiana University’s International Strategic Plan.

IUPUI units are encouraged to engage with more than 60 international partnerships already established to advance Indiana University’s strategic international priorities in teaching, research, and outreach.

As new opportunities emerge at IUPUI, the Office of International Affairs is available for consultation on partnership activities and developing a collaboration proposal within IU’s framework for international agreements.
